When I decided to start selling plants I was hoping we could reimagine the way plants were sold. As this first year wraps up I don't feel we've accomplished that goal. Many of the plants that are incredible garden performers have not sold and the plants that have the best photos while in bloom do sell well.
In less than a year we were not going to reinvent what and how plants are sold, but as the the year continued I became increasingly concerned that flower photos alone were what were determining if a plant sold or not. So the greatest plant in the history of gardening might not sell because you don't have a good photo of the plant yet
